JOL TV: Georgia Tech QB Haynes King And LB Kyle Efford Post UGA
Georgia Tech quarterback Haynes King and linebacker Kyle Efford spoke to the media after the Yellow Jackets' 45-20 loss to the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday.
"It's tough to lose, especially a rivalry game like this. We didn't play well enough today. We made too many mistakes."
"They have a great offense. Stetson Bennett is a good quarterback, and their running backs are very talented. We knew they would be a challenge, but we didn't do a good enough job of stopping them."
"I didn't play well today. I threw two interceptions, and I wasn't accurate enough with my passes. I need to be better for this team."
"We didn't play well as a unit today. We gave up too many big plays. We need to be better at tackling and getting off the field on third down."
Despite their disappointing loss, King and Efford expressed optimism for the future of the Georgia Tech football program.
"We have a lot of young players on this team, and we're going to learn from this experience. We're going to work hard in the offseason, and we're going to be better next season."
"We have a lot of talent on this team. We're going to continue to work hard, and we're going to be a contender in the ACC next season."
